Orbit Baby, Inc. announced the launch of the Orbit Baby O2(TM). The O2(TM) is a unique, innovative hybrid stroller that lets convert between two essential modes: a high seat position 'City Mode' ideal for everyday neighborhood strolling, and a low seat position "Performance Mode" optimized for running and all-terrain use. Go from the cafe to the coast trail with a simple twist of a lever to switch between the two modes. And with pneumatic tires that can handle tough terrain, rear suspension and an adjustable handlebar, the Orbit Baby O2 offers a smooth ride for everyone in the family, from the casual walker to the avid runner. The O2 incorporates several iconic Orbit Baby design features, including its patented 360-degree rotating interface, making it one of the few strollers that allows to face baby while running. With an emphasis on advanced safety and engineering, Orbit Baby is continually recognized for its innovation, ergonomic design, and use of green-certified fabrics. The Orbit Baby O2(TM) product features include: City Mode: Smoothly navigate neighborhood with comfort and ease, while a higher seating position allows baby to take in the city views; Performance Mode: Hit the weekend trail or go for a morning run. A lower seating position for baby maximizes stability and speed; Convert with ease: O2 stroller frame converts from city mode to performance mode with a simple twist of a lever; Face their baby: The Orbit Baby O2 is one of the few strollers that allows to face baby while running. The patented SmartHub(TM) enables 360-degree seat rotation in both City Mode and Performance Mode, so can keep an eye on baby, or rotate the seat away from wind or sun; Ready for all adventures: with large pneumatic tires, rear suspension, adjustable handlebar, front wheel lock, and cup holder, wherever journey takes and at whichever ever speed choose, O2 makes it an easier and more comfortable ride.

Orbit Baby, Inc. Announces Voluntary Recall of Specific Orbit Baby Car Seat Bases G2
Nov 4 13
Orbit Baby, Inc. announced a voluntary recall of the Orbit Baby Car Seat Base G2 (model No. ORB822000). In some instances the StrongArm knob on the affected Car Seat Base G2, used to securely tighten the base into the vehicle, may detach or spin without tightening the base, preventing the installation of the Car Seat Base G2. The car seat bases affected were manufactured between March 20, 2013 to July 20, 2013 with one of the following Batch Numbers: A0840, A0860 and A0880. No other base Batch Numbers are affected by this recall. The Infant Car Seat G2 is not affected by this recall and can continue to be used without the Car Seat Base G2 in accordance with the instruction manual. Orbit Baby has not received any report of injuries. This is a voluntary recall that the company is conducting in the abundance of caution. All Orbit Baby car seats and car seat bases have consistently met and exceeded applicable government safety standards. This issue does not affect the performance of the Infant Car Seat G2 when used without the Car Seat Base G2. This issue also does not affect the performance of any Orbit Baby car seats if the Car Seat Base G2 is securely installed in accordance with the instruction manual. The StrongArm technology is an installation feature that facilitates the '60-second' installation of the car seat base by tightening the car seat base into the vehicle. To address this issue, Orbit Baby will make a repair kit available. A consumer can confirm whether a Car Seat Base G2 (Model No. ORB822000) is affected by verifying the 'date manufactured' (between March 20, 2013 and July 20, 2013) and the Batch Number (A0840, A0860 and A0880). The label with the 'date manufactured' and batch number is found on the back of the base upright. To obtain a repair kit as soon as it is available. Any affected Car Seat Base G2 should not be returned to the retailer.
