Interstate General Media Announces Promotion of H.F. Gerry Lenfest to Vice President of Operations

Interstate General Media announced that owner and interim Publisher H.F. "Gerry" Lenfest has turned to a familiar face to oversee strategic planning, budgets and staffing for the company's three publications. Stan Wischnowski, who most recently has been the Inquirer's executive editor since May 2012, was selected to fill the new position of vice president, news operations. In addition to his strategic and business roles, Wischnowski will also serve as the primary liaison between the three newsrooms and their interaction with the publisher's office, in addition to the company’s marketing, advertising and legal departments. Wischnowski, 52, will report directly to Lenfest, who has said his main goal is to hire a publisher who can outline and implement a vision for all three publications.
