FIFA Announces Management Changes

Football chief Anura De Silva has been appointed to the Associations Committee of the FIFA, the world body for football after Ranjith Rodrigo in an unprecedented move decided to hand the position to his successor. Rodrigo who was denied re-election as the president of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka due to the controversial provisions of the sports regulations implemented in January 15, 2013 has also handed over his position at the Asian Football Confederations (AFC).
