The UK Green Investment Bank Plc (GIB) announced it has invested GBP 47 million in a 14.85-MW waste-to-energy plant to be built in Belfast, Northern Ireland. GIB's investment in the GBP-107-million project has been made as part of a joint venture with RiverRidge Energy Ltd, the developer of the project, Equitix and P3P Partners.
