Allianz Australia Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months of 2014. For the quarter, total quarterly revenues increased 14.5% to EUR 28.78 billion against EUR 25.14 billion a year ago. Operating profit stood at EUR 2.65 billion against EUR 2.52 billion a year ago, up 5.2%. Net income attributable to shareholders increased 11.2% to EUR 1.61 billion against EUR 1.45 billion a year ago.
For the nine months, total revenues rose 9.8% to EUR 92.20 billion against EUR 83.97 billion a year ago. Operating profit was up 6.0% to EUR 8.14 billion against EUR 7.68 billion a year ago. Net income attributable to shareholders increased 5.5% to EUR 5.00 billion against EUR 4.74 billion a year ago.
For 2014, the company confirm outlook that the upper end of the operating profit target range at EUR 10.5 billion is in reach.
