Logentries and Elasticsearch Integration Offers Interoperability Between Popular Logging Services
Feb 26 15
Logentries announced a new integration with Elasticsearch's Logstash. The new integration enables users to easily forward logs collected via Logstash into the cloud-based Logentries service for more meaningful analysis and visualization over time. Similarly the Logentries Open API allows easy extraction of data from the cloud service for Logstash users, promoting interoperability between both solutions. The Logentries and Elasticsearch integration offers an easy, automated configuration for sending Logstash log data into the Logentries service where users can immediately start to tag, search, and visualize in real-time. The cloud-based Logentries service collects and pre-processes log events in real-time for on-demand analysis, alerting and visualization. With custom tagging and filtering, users can correlate data across their infrastructure to better understand application usage and performance, security issues, and user behavior.
Elasticsearch Joins the Cisco Solution Partner Program
Nov 10 14
Elasticsearch Inc. announced that it has joined the Cisco(R) Solution Partner Program. The Internet of Everything (IoE) continues to bring together people, processes, data and things to enhance the relevancy of network connections. As a member of the Cisco Solution Partner Program, Elasticsearch is able to quickly create and deploy solutions to enhance the capabilities, performance and management of the network to capture value in the IoE. Mozilla chose Elasticsearch and Kibana to power MozDef, it's open source Security Information and Event Management platform, for flexibility in data and document structure as well as ease-of-use in clustering, searching, backup and visualizations. These features of Elasticsearch and Kibana, combined with Mozilla's existing Cisco UCS infrastructure and the MozDef SIEM overlay, allow for real-time indexing, search and analytics of over 300 million events/day protecting Mozilla's network, services and systems from security threats.
