Finanziaria d'investimento Fininvest S.p.A. is not interested in selling Associazione Calcio Milan s.p.a. (AC Milan), despite reports of a potential €1 billion offer. Reports in Thailand stated that Bee Taechaubol had lodged an offer of €1 billion for a controlling stake in AC Milan. AC Milan has denied reports that Silvio Berlusconi's holding company, Fininvest, has any interest in selling a majority stake in the club. "In response to press reports, Fininvest reiterates that it is not interested in selling majority shares in AC Milan," Fininvest's statement said. "Fininvest can only reiterate the statement left on Saturday the 14th of February: various entities have shown interest in a partnership with Fininvest relating to Milan, but categorically deny that there have been negotiations, let alone pre-contract agreements or 'decisive meetings' on the agenda."

Bee Taechaubol Thai businessman confirmed that he made an offer of €1 billion to acquire a majority stake in Finanziaria d'investimento Fininvest S.p.A. (AC Milan). Bee Taechaubol said he wanted to buy more than a 50% stake in the football club, but not whole ownership. It was assumed that an agreement could be signed by end of February. However Silvio Berlusconi denied selling stake in AC Milan. Fininvest S.p.A. has denied the media speculation that it is considering selling Associazione Calcio Milan s.p.a. (AC Milan). Bloomberg reported recently that Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi had engaged a company to look for potential buyers for AC Milan. Fininvest stated, “Despite the numerous denials, rumors return to circulate regarding a possible sale of Milan. Fininvest confirms once again that it (rumor) is just a hypothesis without any foundation.”
