Ariston Thermo Opens Production Plant in Vietnam

Ariston Thermo opened a plant in Hanoi, Vietnam, to serve the local and southeast Asian markets. The factory will employ some 300 people and will have the capacity to produce up to one million electric water heaters annually. The plant further boosts Ariston Thermo's production capacity in Asia's southeast where Vietnam is a key part of its strategy.

Ariston Thermo Group, Uzbekneftegaz Launch JV to Produce Heating Equipment

Ariston Thermo Group-UTG, an Uzbek-Italian joint venture, has launched a $15 million factory in the Navoi free industrial economic zone to manufacture heating equipment. The venture will manufacture Ariston heating and hot water boilers with capacity of 30 liters to 150 liters for household and industrial applications. The factory has capacity to produce 120,000 units per year and plans to produce 30,000 units by the end of this year. The venture was formed this year by Uzbekneftegaz NHC and Ariston Thermo Group. The $15 million cost of the project was financed with $10 million from Uzbekneftegaz and direct investment from the Italian company.
