FEDSIM Selects Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. for $937 Million Global Threat Mitigation Program

The US General Services Administration Federal Systems Integration and Management Center, or FEDSIM, has selected Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. as prime contractor for $937 million Global Threat Mitigation Program, or GTMP. Booz Allen will support the Department of Defense with assessments that identify and analyze evolving and emerging threats and provide US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) and its operational and strategic partners - the Army National Guard (ARNG), US Army Pacific (USARPAC), US Army Europe (USAREUR), US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), US European Command (USEUCOM) and US Africa Command (USAFRICOM) - with training and expertise to combat these threats. The GTMP task order requires Booz Allen to conduct regional strategic planning as well as threat and intelligence analyses and assessments. Specifically, Booz Allen will assist in the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide methodology and approach for training management and curriculum development. In addition, the firm will continue to provide Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) training support at US Army home stations and with partner nations using live, virtual, constructive and gaming training methods. The contract also requires Booz Allen to provide Integrated Air and Missile program support Information Operations support and surge support for all partners. The global work expands on and vastly broadens Booz Allen's current support for the US Army for training and threat detection related to C-IED measures.

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. has won an $82.9 million Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation, or CDM, contract task order from the Department of Homeland Security, or DHS, and the General Services Administration's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center, or GSA FEDSIM. To help Federal agencies stay ahead of evolving Cyber security threats, DHS and the GSA FEDSIM have selected Booz Allen Hamilton to fulfill Task Order 2D of the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program (CDM Task Order 2D). The contract valued at $82.9 million over three years is the second CDM Task Order award for Booz Allen under the DHS CDM Program. When combined, Booz Allen's two CDM contracts cover almost 70% of the Federal IT enterprise, and exemplify Booz Allen's strategic focus to help organizations identify and reduce cyber vulnerability risks.
