Millennium Trust Company has expanded the offering of its Fund Custody Solution to include custody for registered investment companies ('40 Act Funds) as well as verification services. Millennium's Fund Custody expanded its services to support funds leveraging their loan portfolios by providing verification and certification services required by the funds' credit facilities. In addition, Millennium expanded their services to include providing custody for '40 Act Funds. Assets under custody within the fund custody division surpassed $10.8 Billion as of September 30.

This brings the total number of platforms listed on MAIN to nine. In addition to Lending Club announced earlier this month, EquityZen, iCapital Network, Prodigy Network, and R.J. Oasis are now available through MAIN. Millennium Trust collaborates with leading online investment platforms and service providers to create solutions that use technology to provide qualified investors with an easy way to find and research alternative investments, and then purchase and custody the investment through their Millennium account. MAIN provides access to an ever-expanding network of online investment platforms offering a range of alternative investment options. And once investors make a decision to invest, they can use Millennium Trust's simple, secure, online process to set up and manage their custody accounts. EquityZen is a marketplace for pre-IPO investments, connecting shareholders of private companies with investors seeking alternative investments, allowing startup employees to sell their rights to their shares while providing investment access to upside in growth firms. iCapital Network offers a curated selection of private equity, credit, real estate, venture capital and hedge funds, supported by a full complement of research and diligence tools and electronic subscription processing. Lending Club is the online credit marketplace. Millennium Trust Company announced that Chief Operating Officer Gary Anetsberger has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective March 18, 2016. Mr. Anetsberger replaces T. Scott McCartan who, following a career spanning over 50 years in the investment, banking, and financial services industries, will retire as CEO. Mr. McCartan will move to an advisory role at the firm, while also continuing to serve on the Board of Directors. McCartan joined the firm as CEO two years after it was established in 2000 and built Millennium Trust into a leading U.S. financial services company. Mr. Anetsberger, who has served as chief operating officer at Millennium Trust since 2002, has 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the firm, he served as chief administrative officer for ABN AMRO Asset Management and Stein Roe Mutual Funds, and also worked as a senior manager at KPMG. Dan Laszlo was hired as Chief Financial Officer to replace Karla Mansfield who retired earlier this year. Dan began his career in 2006 as an analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and most recently was a director at William Blair & Company, LLC where he focused on corporate M&A and equity and debt transactions across the financial technology and financial services industries. Rob Metzger, Director of the Investment Banking Academy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, joins Brian Golson, Andrew Dodson, and Anthony Orazio from Parthenon Capital Partners and Scott McCartan and Gary Anetsberger from Millennium, on Millennium Trust's Board of Directors.
