The Ministry of Trade and Industry announced board appointment changes at SPRING Singapore. Four new members have been appointed to the Board with effect from 9 May 2016. Four members have stepped down. Appointment of New Board Members (effective 9 May 2016): Ms. Jeanne Liew, Principal and Chief Executive Officer, Nanyang Polytechnic; Mr. Ng Chee Peng, Chief Executive Officer, Central Provident Fund Board; Mr. Lim Der Shing, Co-Founder, JobsCentral Group; and Mr. Peter Ho, Chief Executive Officer, HOPE Technik Pte Ltd. The following board members have stepped down upon the completion of their terms on 31 March 2016. SPRING Singapore Appoints Poon Hong Yuen as Chief Executive, Effect from November 1, 2015

SPRING Singapore has appointed Mr. Poon Hong Yuen as its Chief Executive. Mr. Poon, currently the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Law (MinLaw), will take over SPRING's Acting Chief Executive Ted Tan with effect from November 1, 2015. Mr. Tan Kai Hoe, the previous Chief Executive of SPRING Singapore, had previously stepped down on July 31, 2015 to join the private sector. Prior to MinLaw, Mr. Poon was CEO of the National Parks Board (NParks) from 2010 to 2014.
