PT Lion Mentari Airlines completes project to increase artillery accuracy. Lion Air's flight from Bandung to Pontianak and return will be serviced once a day with the following schedule, JT 828 //BANDUNG (STD 19:55) - PONTIANAK (STA 21:25) and JT 829 //PONTIANAK (STD 07:20) - BANDUNG (STA 8:50). With the addition of this new service, continue to add the destination choices for people to fly to the island of Borneo, since before Lion Air also flew to South Kalimantan through the city of Banjarmasin and Balikpapan in East Kalimantan through Bandung.

Lion Air Inc. Opens New Route Linking the Balikpapan in East Kalimantan and Pontianak in West Kalimantan

Lion Air Inc. has announced the opening of new route linking the Balikpapan in East Kalimantan and Pontianak in West Kalimantan. Lion Air is currently officially flying from Balikpapan through International Airport Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman to Pontianak through Supadio International Airport and return. The service will begin operating on January 25, 2017 and Lion Air will serve one flight per day with the following schedule: JT 937 //BALIKPAPAN (STA 18:30) - PONTIANAK (STD 19:00); and JT 936 //PONTIANAK (STA 19:40) - BALIKPAPAN (STD 22:10).

Lion Air Not Planning For IPO

PT. Lion Mentari Airlines (Lion Air) is not planning to make an Initial Public Offering (IPO). Founder, Rusdi Kirana indicated that the company does not plan to pursue an IPO. He stated, without furnishing details, “We still have money”. The official had said in January 2016 that Lion Air could go public as early as 2017 if Indonesia's economy improves and any listing would help to increase the company's transparency.
