Carlson Survey 2017 OEM is easy-to-use, full-featured software for surveyors which comes with the AutoCAD® 2013 OEM engine built-in. Field-to-Finish upgrades are a focus in the new version with many user suggested improvements including hatch for closed polylines, draw fitted text using control points, automatic multi-point symbols and using GIS codes for processing. Photos taken with SurvCE can be linked to the points in the drawing automatically. New special codes are available for best-fit lines, settings the linetype width and controlling the point labels. Power users can now edit the whole code table in a single spreadsheet. Together with Carlson Survey 2017 version, which works on AutoCAD ® versions 2010 to 2017 and comes with the improved IntelliCAD ® 8.2 built-in, Carlson Survey OEM is the number one office software solution for surveyors in the United States. The many improvements to Carlson Survey 2017 OEM include: New Carlson Community for sharing program files such as point symbols and Field-to-Finish code tables; New hatch wizard to quickly hatch by picking an interior point or perimeter polyline; Added method to create a combined line and curve table; In the point editor, added display of images attached to points with ability to add and remove images. Carlson Software Inc. announced the Carlson RT3, the latest in company's ruggedized tablet line, has been released bringing powerful functionality to users mobile data collection. Following the Carlson Supervisor and Panasonic FZ-M1 Tablet, the RT3 ensures ruggedness and reliability. The RT3 provides maximum efficiency in the harshest weather environments with its 7” touch screen interface and all-day battery power. The tablet is lightweight, ergonomic and most importantly, completely ruggedized with an IP68 water and dust resistant Ingress Protection rating. The tablet includes a USB port, audio jack, docking port and more, all with removable protective seals to keep out dust and dirt when not in use. The RT3 boasts a high-visibility display with IllumiView TM technology and chemically-strengthened Dragontail TM glass for impact and scratch resistance. The touch display is designed for use with gloves or the included small tip stylus in wet conditions. In addition, it offers the full functionality of Windows OS for a complete office-to-field computer solution. The RT3 has a battery life of 8-10 hours and an optional hot-swap battery expansion adding an extra 4-5 hours of battery life, allowing for minimal downtime. Carlson Software announced release of Carlson SurvCE and SurvPC 5.0. The newest version of Carlson Software’s in-the-field land surveying software – Carlson SurvCE 5.0 for data collectors and Carlson SurvPC 5.0 for ruggedized tablets and laptops – has just been released. Featuring many new additions and improvements, Carlson SurvCE 5.0 focuses on speed and power with a new memory allocator, which empowers users to do more, faster. Newest instrument drivers added for Total Stations and GPS receivers include: full support for the WEC7 update on the Carlson Surveyor2, Carlson’s CR+, Geomax’s Zoom35 Pro, Zoom90, and Zipp20 total stations, and data collector support for the Stonex S4, Foif F55/F52, Daishin DS3, and Hemisphere XF3. Ten new models of GNSS drivers include those from CHC, Champion, EFT, Geomax, Hi-Target, Sokkia, Spectra Precision, and South.
