BNY Mellon has been selected as depositary bank by Edita Food Industries S.A.E. for the listing and offering of its global depositary receipts (GDRs). Each Edita GDR represents five common shares. Edita's ordinary shares trade on the Egyptian Exchange under the symbol 'EFID.CA' and its GDRs trade on the London Stock Exchange Professional Market under the symbol 'EFID'. The new listing marks the first GDR capital raising by an Egyptian company since 2008.
Canadian Solar Inc Appoints BNY Mellon as Depositary and Collateral Agent in Canada

Canadian Solar Inc. has appointed BNY Mellon as depositary and collateral agent, for four power plants in the Province of Ontario, Canada. These power plants, with total generating capacity of 40 megawatts, include BeamLight in Georgina, GoldLight in Pefferlaw, Illumination in Scugog, and Glenarm in Kawartha Lakes. Once completed, these projects will sell electricity to the Ontario Power Authority pursuant to a 20-year Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) contract. As the depositary and collateral agent for Canadian Solar, BNY Mellon will be responsible to process authorized payments to Canadian Solar vendors during the construction and operation phases of the power plants and for holding the collateral on behalf of lenders.
