BNY Mellon has appointed Joon Kim as head of global trade processing products for its treasury services business. Joon's more than 25 years of banking industry experience includes service in a number of senior positions at Standard Chartered Bank and American Express Bank. He joins BNY Mellon from Standard Chartered, here he was managing director and head of transaction banking sales for corporate and commodities for the Americas region. Responsibilities in previous positions included leading teams engaged in trade sales, trade product management and relationship management, with an emphasis on development and sales of trade finance, supply chain financing, receivable services, trade processing and cross-border cash and liquidity management solutions to global financial institutions and corporations. Based in New York, Joon succeeds Vince Galloni, who has joined the Treasury Services strategy and innovation team.
BNY Mellon Opens First German Office in Frankfurt; Announces Board Appointments

BNY Mellon has expanded its European footprint by opening its first German office in Frankfurt. Standish Mellon Asset Management, Alcentra, Insight Investments and Newton Investment Management to institutional, wholesale and wealth management clients in Germany.
The company has hired Thilo Wolf as country head Germany and Silvia Mischel as director in charge of institutional sales. Wolf, who has been hired to head the venture, joined BNY Mellon from Socit Gnrale, where he worked with the cross-asset solutions team. Prior to this, he worked with HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt, where he focused on structured products in Germany. In her new role, Mischel will be responsible for focusing on sales efforts in the institutional market. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, she has held several senior distribution roles for WestLB group and Meriten Investment Management.
BNY Mellon Appoints Nancy E. Anderson as Senior Wealth Director

BNY Mellon announced that Nancy E. Anderson will oversee wealth management for the greater Chicago area and the Midwest for BNY Mellon. In her new role, Anderson will split her time between Minnesota and Chicago. Prior to this position, Anderson was a senior private wealth advisor for U.S. Trust, Bank of American Private Wealth Management in Minnesota.
