The Oracle Marketing AppCloud is one of the industry's most comprehensive marketing technology ecosystems, offering Oracle customers a broad set of marketing apps and data services to extend and optimize their technology investments. Oracle Marketing Cloud provides chief marketing officers (CMOs) and their teams with data-driven solutions to simplify marketing resources and deliver more personalised customer-centric experiences across every channel to attract and retain ideal customers. These modern marketing solutions connect cross-channel, content, and social marketing with data management and activation, for enterprise B2B and B2C marketers on a single system of record. The Swirl Mobile Presence Management and Marketing Platform enables Oracle Marketing Cloud customers to originate a new set of behavioral data that can be used to augment existing customer profiles and help enhance marketing program effectiveness. Swirl's DataBridge technology enables a real-time data feed that allows marketers to access online and offline customer profiles in order to help personalize marketing communications at any touchpoint. Swirl Announces Executive Appointments

Swirl Networks, Inc. announced that it has added three retail, media and technology veterans to support its next phase of growth and meet the increasingly sophisticated digital marketing needs of its customers. Dan Dmochowski has been appointed as the company's Chief Revenue Officer. Dmochowski previously held executive leadership positions at ShopRunner, BlackHawk Network and Catalina Marketing. In addition, Mark Marinacci, a media industry executive with nearly 20 years of experience at leading publishers including Google, Yahoo and Gannett, has been hired as Vice President, Audience Development. The company also added Niall Fitzpatrick, a seasoned professional services, operations and customer support leader from Endeca, Acquia and a number of other high-growth technology companies, as Vice President, Account Management. Swirl Networks Introduces Mobile Presence Management and Marketing Platform

Swirl Networks, Inc. has introduced a new mobile presence management and marketing platform. The new software platform allows retailers to systematically generate and leverage first-party shopper behavioral data based on a broad set of digital location signals (spanning GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth beacons) in and around their physical stores. Swirl's platform includes a suite of specialized tools that enable marketers to take advantage of digital location signals for measurement, marketing, merchandising and customer service applications in their stores. Armed with this new set of data and digital marketing capabilities, brick and mortar retailers can now deliver highly personalised interactions at every customer touchpoint. Brick and mortar retailers have struggled to keep up with Amazon's personalization capabilities because they have been unable to build the necessary data foundation - a deep understanding of individual customer needs and preferences. Amazon's personalization engine is powered by a massive set of behavioral data that is collected from every visit, click and purchase that is made on its ecommerce properties. Traditional retailers, on the other hand, have been hamstrung by an inability to capture similar data on individual customers in their physical stores, where more than 90% of their sales take place. Swirl's Mobile Presence Management and Marketing platform provides retailers with a comprehensive solution to combat Amazon's growing data and personalization advantage by allowing retailers to harness their most valuable asset, the physical store, in a unique new way. Every day, millions of consumer smartphones scan the airwaves in search of digital signals that can be mapped to specific geographical locations. By systematically managing these location signals and the corresponding data that is generated (with the consumer's permission), retailers are able to create a valuable and proprietary data asset that can be leveraged in a variety of ways. When coupled with specialized mobile marketing and measurement tools offered by Swirl, this data can be used to personalize digital content and services that can be accessed by in-store shoppers or store associates on their mobile devices.
