The company posted a billed volume growth of 6% in the first three months of 2017 to 1.26 mcm from 1.19 mcm in the same period in 2016. The growth was driven by a 2% expansion in water service connections and the strong influx of tourists that reached more than 511,000 during the three-month period, growing by 5% year-on-year. NRW was recorded at 18% at the end of March 2017, the same level at the end of 2016, due to suspected leaks at the distribution lines.
