China Huaneng Group and Andritz AG signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on May 11 at the group headquarters. President of China Huaneng Group Mr. CAO Peixi, deputy general manager Wang Wenzong, President and Chief executive Officer of Andritz AG Wolfgang Leitner, Executive Vice President Wolfgang Semper attended the ceremony. On behalf of both the sides, Wang Wenzong and Wolfgang Semper, signed the agreement. According to the agreement, both sides will play their respective advantages, will build laboratories for developing hydropower technology, will deepen cooperation etc.

China Huaneng Group Corporation recently entered into a cooperation framework agreement with China National Offshore Oil Corporation. Under the terms of the agreement, both companies will conduct strategic cooperation in the fields of natural gas upstream, LNG receiving stations and natural gas power generation in addition to strengthening their cooperation in natural gas, thermal power and electric power supply, in a move to help each other in industrial upgrading and achieve a win-win situation.
