Peak Performance Announces Earnings Results for the Third Quarter of 2016

Peak Performance announced earnings results for the third quarter of 2016. For the quarter, the company generated revenue of DKK 264 million against DKK 285 million a year ago, corresponding to a reduction of 7.4% (a reduction of 6.9% measured in local currency). As expected, this reduction was driven by the wholesale channel. The revenue reduction was mainly registered in the Nordic region. The operating profit amounted to DKK 38 million against DKK 36 million a year ago.

Peak Performance reported earnings results for the year ended June 30, 2015. The company generated revenue of DKK 953 million against DKK 929 million a year ago, an increase of 2.5% (4.1% in local currency) compared to last year. The negative impact of store closures in the retail channel early in the year was outweighed by positive revenue growth generated by the physical stores and in particular the e-commerce channel in the second half of the year. Same-store revenue (excluding outlets) increased by 13% driven by higher sales in both the physical stores and the e-commerce channel particularly in the second half of the year. Operating profit before depreciation, amortization and net financials (EBITDA) was DKK 122 million against DKK 99 million last year. Operating profit (EBIT) was DKK 107 million against DKK 72 million a year ago.
