The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation Announces Executive Changes

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has appointed Matthew Stauffer as Managing Director and Head of Institutional Trade Processing, effective 30 June, 2017. Stauffer will be responsible for integrating DTCC's middle office trade processing solutions, including the Omgeo suite of solutions, Trade Support Services (TSS) and the GMEI Utility, as well as leading new product development. He will report to Timothy Keady, Managing Director and Head of DTCC Solutions. Stauffer previously served as CEO of Clarient Global. Before joining DTCC, Stauffer was a management consultant in Accenture's Financial Services practice. In related organisational moves, Paula Arthus, who most recently served as Head of Omgeo and Data Services, is to take on a new assignment as Chief of Staff and Head of Corporate Strategy in the Office of the DTCC CEO. DTCC will align its Global Trade Repository (GTR), Trade Information Warehouse (TIW) and DTCC-Euroclear GlobalCollateral Ltd. businesses under a single portfolio led by Christopher Childs, Managing Director and head of Derivatives and Collateral as well as CEO of Deriv/SERV. Childs will also report to Keady. Mark Jennis, Executive Chairman of DTCC-Euroclear GlobalCollateral Ltd., will continue in his role and report to Childs.

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation Appoints Michael McClain as Managing Director and General Manager of Equity Clearing

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has appointed Michael McClain as a managing director and general manager of equity clearing. McClain will be responsible for leading day-to-day equity clearing business operations and strategic initiatives. He will report to Murray Pozmanter, managing director and head of clearing agency services. McClain joins DTCC from the Options Clearing Corporation, where he served as chief operating officer and was part of the office of the executive chairman. In this capacity, McClain oversaw OCC's technology and operations. Prior to that, McClain held senior roles in business development, new products and strategy and was responsible for the build-out of OCC's business continuity site in Texas. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Accenture and IBM, specialising in large-scale initiatives for the financial industry. McClain previously served as a member of the Advisory Board of Directors for the International Options Market Association (IOMA) and also held positions on the Securities Industry Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Operations and Technology Steering Committee and the Futures Industry Association.
