Enter Selects SwiftStack as its Object Storage Layer

SwiftStack announced that Enter has selected SwiftStack as its object storage layer. Using SwiftStack allows Enter to deliver its enterprise customers a flexible, simple and cost-effective cloud storage solution. SwiftStack is fully integrated into the Enter Cloud Suite, Enter's scalable cloud infrastructure platform and the first multi-regional European public cloud service suite based on OpenStack. Enter selected SwiftStack for its low total cost of ownership (TCO), its ease to scale exponentially as the amount of its customers data increases, and its ability to give Enter freedom from vendor lock-in. This ensures Enter and its customers are not tied to high upfront costs and escalating maintenance fees. Enter Cloud Suite's object storage platform is deployed on low-cost commodity servers. Enter customers will also soon benefit from SwiftStack's latest features, including those in SwiftStack 2.0, the SwiftStack Filesystem Gateway and storage policies, further reducing TCO and increasing manageability, scalability and performance of their storage system.
