Human Arc Introduces Health Coverage Connect

Human Arc introduced Health Coverage Connect, a solution to enhance provider reimbursement in response to health care reform. As part of this new offering, Human Arc is now a licensed insurance broker. Health Coverage Connect helps self-pay patients access insurance affordability programs available under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and enrolls them in coverage through Qualified Health Plans (QHPs). In turn, providers secure reimbursement for more patients and help patients comply with the individual mandate requiring most to have insurance in 2014. Health Coverage Connect uses a three-pronged approach. First, eligibility experts screen patients for subsidies that lower the cost of QHPs in the Marketplaces. Next, they educate patients about the assistance available to them, including estimated subsidies and premiums. Finally, insurance experts counsel patients to identify QHPs that match their medical needs, help them select a plan, and enroll them in coverage.
Human Arc Promotes Stephen Mullin to Vice President, Marketing, Planning and Product Development

Human Arc announced that Stephen J. Mullin has been promoted to Vice President, Marketing, Planning and Product Development. In his recent work with Human Arc, Mr. Mullin grew the Marketing Department and led introduction of the company’s new corporate website as well as its new logo and branding. He directed promotion of IQualify software screening and enrollment solutions for clients, as well as commercialization of innovative services that help the company’s clients meet challenges and opportunities inherent with national health care reform. Before joining Human Arc in 2007, Mr. Mullin worked as Strategic Marketing Director, Radiology Segment, with Philips Medical Systems’ Computed Tomography Division (Cleveland, OH). In that role, he was responsible for the product marketing strategies that led his sales and service operations to record-setting performance levels, and he established an innovative evaluation and assessment process that helped perfect value-oriented, customer-responsive products.
