The Gordian Group announced the promotion of Dwayne Pierre-Antoine to Director of Operations for the company's Great Lakes Region. Mr. Pierre-Antoine will be responsible for all client and staff performance within the region. Mr. Pierre-Antoine replaces Michael C. Jones, the previous Director of The Gordian Group's Great Lakes Region who was recently appointed as VP of Operations for The Gordian Group, a newly created position charged with managing the company's expanding operations throughout the U.S. In his previous position as Senior Account Manager in the Chicago area, Mr. Pierre-Antoine oversaw and supported JOC programs for the City of Chicago, City Colleges of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools, Cook County and the City of Chicago Public Building Commission. Prior to joining The Gordian Group seven years ago as a Project Manager, he served as a senior adjuster with various insurance agencies in the Chicago area. As the Operations Director for the Great Lakes Region, Mr. Pierre-Antoine will be responsible for all client and staff performance, developing and implementing programs including customized Gordian JOC Solutions and Gordian Change Order Management System (COMS), training client and contractor staff, and managing the team's day-to-day activities. Additionally, he will oversee the region's Gordian ezIQC programs, the onboarding of new clients, and managing existing contracts for Illinois Tollway, Purdue University, Chicago Transit Authority, City of Chicago Infrastructure Departments, Cleveland Clinic and University of Illinois at Chicago.
The Gordian Group Releases Significant Update for RSMeans Online Cost Estimating Software

The Gordian Group released a major update to its groundbreaking RSMeans Online cost estimating software, its second significant upgrade in 2015. The company is committed to continuing development and enhancement of the RSMeans Online platform to provide contractors, facility owners and managers, architects, and engineers with accurate, dependable, and up-to-date construction data, tools and features that respond to the needs of customers. The RSMeans Online version 6.3 upgrade introduces new application functionality and improves features for collaboration. Most importantly, the update delivers the first phase of key building blocks "new notification features and permissions-based estimate storage for collaborative estimating "that will serve as a cornerstone for the product’s future development. New or enhanced features in RSMeans Online version 6.3 include: A new user-defined Notification System alerting users when data updates occur or when other users make changes to collaborative estimates. Improvements to the Customized Assemblies tool to allow modified assemblies to be saved as favorites for future use, a feature previously available at the estimate level only. An improved free trial allowing up to ten users to evaluate the full range of collaborative functionality available to subscribers. A new capability in Advanced Reporting that allows the import of graphics "such as company logos for a branded estimate "at the estimate level and on editable templates.
