Parsons Appoints Frank Sheppard as New Project Manager for SWPF

Parsons Corporation has appointed Frank Sheppard, Jr., as project manager for the Department of Energy, or DOE, Salt Waste Processing Facility, or SWPF. Mr. Sheppard, a Parsons vice president and former Deputy Project Manager for SWPF, replaces Louis M. "Lou" Jackson, who has retired.
Nevada Department of Transportation Selects Parsons as Traffic Incident Management Consultant for Nevada

Parsons announced that is has been selected by the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) as the state's Traffic Incident Management (TIM) consultant. Parsons will provide support for the southern, northern, and statewide rural Nevada TIM coalitions and will facilitate the development and update of existing statewide and region-specific TIM guidelines, handbooks, policies, and procedures. TIM is the process of coordinating numerous emergency response partner agencies and private sector companies to detect, respond to, and clear traffic incidents as safely and quickly as possible. Effective TIM reduces the impact of traffic incidents and secondary events in order to improve the safety of responders, motorists, and victims, while also reducing traffic congestion.
