As of July 31, 1998, ZERO Corporation was acquired by Applied Power Inc. Prior to the merger, ZERO Corporation was engaged in the design, manufacture, and marketing of system packaging, thermal management, and engineered cases that protected electronic equipment. Its products included card cages for the printed circuit boards, backplanes, electronic cabinets and consoles, and other electronic products; and air cargo enclosures, aluminum luggage, camera cases, industrial carrying cases, food service containers, and other custom metal products.
