Toys"R"Us Inc. announced global store growth plan for 2014 with the planned opening of approximately 90 stores. The company's most significant expansion plan for 2014 are in China and Southeast Asia, where the company have already begun opening the majority of 22 brand new stores in China and all 8 new locations in Malaysia. And by the end of the year, the company plan to operate 76 stores in 35 cities throughout China.

Toys R Us to Close Location Near Knoxville Center Mall Next Month

Toys R Us announced that it will close its location near Knoxville Center mall next month. The decision was made because the company’s lease at 3200 E. Towne Mall Circle is expiring. The toy store has been serving customers in the area since November 1989, four years after Knoxville Center mall, formerly East Towne Mall, opened.
