American Securities Reportedly Seeks Acquisition Of North American Partners In Anesthesia

American Securities reportedly is seeking acquisition of North American Partners in Anesthesia, LLP. American Securities LLC is in exclusive talks to acquire North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), valuing the company at close to $1 billion, including debt, according to people familiar with the matter. American Securities has prevailed in an auction for NAPA and is now trying to secure financing for the acquisition, the people said on February 29, 2016, asking not to be identified because the discussions are confidential. There is still no certainty that American Securities will be able to finalize an agreement with the owner of NAPA, Moelis Capital Partners LLC, the people added. American Securities and Moelis Capital Partners declined to comment. NAPA did not respond to a request for comment.

Apollo Reportedly Leads Race In PAE Auction

Apollo Global Management, LLC (NYSE:APO) is said to be leading the race in the auction of Pacific Architects and Engineers Incorporated which was put up for sale by Lindsay Goldberg. Citing sources in the know, Reuters said Apollo and Lindsay Goldberg are working towards a deal that could value PAE at $900 million inclusive of debt. According to the sources, Apollo has taken the lead on rival bidders American Securities and Platinum Equity LLC. No comments were available from the companies.
