Guernsey Finance to Open Hong Kong Office in 2016

Guernsey Finance announced that it will open a Hong Kong office in the first quarter of 2016 to focus on South-East Asia. The office, which should open early in the new year in Pacific Place - Admiralty, will add to its China office which opened in 2008 and is overseen by Wendy Weng.
Guernsey Finance Appoints Lyndon Trott as Chairman

Lyndon Trott, a non-Executive Director of the Augentius Group has been appointed Chairman of Guernsey Finance, with effect from 1st December 2015. Lyndon has previously had roles in Guernsey as First Treasury Minister and, more recently, Chief Minister (equivalent of Prime Minister). Lyndon’s new role will involve him in the ongoing development of Guernsey as a Financial Centre.
Guernsey Finance Appoints Kate Clouston as International Business Development Director

Guernsey Finance has appointed Kate Clouston as its first Director of International Business Development. Kate, who joined Guernsey Finance this month, will be responsible for leading additional international business development work, with a particular focus on evaluating and developing new geographical markets. She will also be involved in identifying and implementing development strategies around emerging financial products and attracting new companies to Guernsey. Kate has previous experience as a Programme Head for the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) - the independent British think tank engaged in defence and security research - as a Media Analyst for Edelman StrategyOne, and as a Senior Researcher at the House of Commons.
