StubHub announced the appointment of Jeff Poirier as the new country manager for Canada, succeeding Anthony Lipschitz, who is leaving this position. In his new role as country manager, Poirier will continue to grow and develop StubHub's business across Canada. Poirier, who joined StubHub in 2012, has spent the past three years on the Strategy & Corporate Development team. He was also the head of Corporate Development on an interim basis throughout most of 2014. Prior to joining StubHub, Poirier spent two years as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in San Francisco, concentrating on technology clients.
StubHub Announces Partnership with Toronto Rock

StubHub announced its partnership with the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club (Toronto Rock) to be the club’s official secondary ticket marketplace. Beyond traditional partnership elements, including in-venue signage and exposure, StubHub will present Toronto Rock fans with a surprise-and-delight opportunity with the StubHub Move of the Game. During every regular season home game, two fans from the upper bowl seats will win upgraded Platinum seats in the lower bowl.

StubHub announced a brand new partnership with AudienceView, to serve as a distribution channel for primary ticketed events. AudienceView, which powers e-commerce and ticketing for both large entertainment organizations and self-serve events management portals that can be used for experiences of any size or type, will integrate its solution with the StubHub platform. The integration is designed to provide seamless, real-time inventory management so that AudienceView clients may better utilize StubHub as a distribution channel for their events. The partnership with AudienceView will add to StubHub's existing supply in theater and performing arts, in addition to music, sports, and other forms of live entertainment, continuing to provide fans access to more tickets to more events than any other marketplace in the world. In turn, StubHub users can expect to find tickets to the broadest array of events anywhere online. AudienceView clients will have access to a trusted distribution service to sell more tickets and generate additional revenue.
