StubHub and BandPage Announce Partnership to Allow Musicians Opportunity to Sell Merchandise and Special Offers

StubHub and BandPage announced a partnership that will mark an unprecedented opportunity for musicians to be able to generate revenue on the ticket marketplace. The partnership will integrate offers from musicians’ BandPage profiles into StubHub, allowing musicians to sell VIP packages, merchandise and other offers within what is already one of the biggest catalogue of tickets for live events in the world. The partnership will provide opportunities for musicians to reach fans in the following ways: StubHub will show fans the available items for sale in musicians’ BandPage Stores as they proceed through the checkout flow on StubHub properties; StubHub will also leverage their unique insights into musicians’ biggest fans and reach them directly through email with highly targeted offers; BandPage will empower musicians with the ability to curate their profiles across StubHub, including StubHub Music, a new mobile concert discovery app for iOS that scans user’s iTunes and Spotify libraries to alert them when their favorite artists are performing at local venues; Musicians will be able to control their profile picture, bio and more on these properties directly from their BandPage Profile. This partnership creates a more comprehensive end-to-end experience for music fans on StubHub, giving them convenient access to more than just the ticket for the live events that they want to attend. Many times fans are not aware of additional elements, such as VIP upgrades to their tickets, with which they can augment and enhance their concert going experience.

StubHub announced the appointment of Jeff Poirier as the new country manager for Canada, succeeding Anthony Lipschitz, who is leaving this position. In his new role as country manager, Poirier will continue to grow and develop StubHub's business across Canada. Poirier, who joined StubHub in 2012, has spent the past three years on the Strategy & Corporate Development team. He was also the head of Corporate Development on an interim basis throughout most of 2014. Prior to joining StubHub, Poirier spent two years as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in San Francisco, concentrating on technology clients.
StubHub Announces Partnership with Toronto Rock

StubHub announced its partnership with the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club (Toronto Rock) to be the club’s official secondary ticket marketplace. Beyond traditional partnership elements, including in-venue signage and exposure, StubHub will present Toronto Rock fans with a surprise-and-delight opportunity with the StubHub Move of the Game. During every regular season home game, two fans from the upper bowl seats will win upgraded Platinum seats in the lower bowl.
