WWE and StubHub Announce Multi-Year Agreement

WWE and StubHub announced they have reached a multi-year agreement, naming StubHub the company’s exclusive ticket resale marketplace for fans in the United States and Canada. Through StubHub, WWE’s passionate fan base will have a trusted destination for buying and selling tickets for the most sought-after WWE events. The agreement is in place in time for fans still looking for ticket options for WrestleMania® 33, which takes place on April 2, 2017 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl. In addition to WrestleMania 33, fans can also use StubHub to see ticket options for the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Amway Centeron on March 31, 2017; NXT® TakeOver®at the Amway Center on April 1, 2017; Raw®at the Amway Center on April 3, 2017; and SmackDown® Live at the Amway Center on April 4, 2017.
StubHub Becomes Exclusive Ticket Marketplace of Naval Academy Athletics

StubHub has signed a multi-year agreement with the Naval Academy Athletic Association, making it the Exclusive Ticket Marketplace of Naval Academy Athletics. The agreement is in partnership with Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement, provider of integrated ticketing and marketing services. The agreement with Navy includes ticketing integration and sponsorship rights for all on-campus football and men’s basketball events. This is StubHub’s first full integrated partnership that also includes sponsorship with an Armed Forces program, and builds on its position as a major partner and sponsor in the collegiate space, working with more than 40 Division I universities. Through StubHub’s strategic partnership integration with industry-leader Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement, Navy season ticket holders will access StubHub as the exclusive ticket marketplace of the Midshipmen. The service is a fully integrated ticketing platform, which allows season- and single-game ticket holders the opportunity to resell tickets with confidence and ease on the ticket marketplace, while also providing buyers a safe and secure shopping experience, with instant tickets upon purchase, via mobile delivery or print-at-home. As part of the agreement, StubHub will receive sponsorship and marketing assets, including digital and in-venue advertising and hospitality for on-campus football and men’s basketball events, plus co-branded email and social media promotions.
Perkins Miller Joins StubHub as General Manager for North America

StubHub announced that Perkins Miller has joined the company as general manager for North America. In this role, he will focus on growing StubHub’s business in North America and exploring new ways of partnering within the events and experiences industry. Miller joins StubHub from NFL Media. His two decades’ worth of experience in traditional and digital media, as well as his work with global events such as the Olympic Games, will help guide StubHub’s strategies across mobile, social and other innovative technology platforms like virtual reality, and his background in sports and entertainment will complement StubHub’s efforts in the industry.
