Unicom Corporation, through its principal subsidiary, Commonwealth Edison Company, was engaged principally in the production, purchase, transmission, distribution, and sale of electricity to residential, commercial, industrial, and wholesale customers, as of December, 31, 1999. The company, through its unregulated subsidiary, Unicom Enterprises, Inc., also engaged in energy service activities.
