Memorial Sloan Kettering Collaborates with HealthLoop Patient Engagement Technology for the New Josie Robertson Surgery Center

HealthLoop announced that it was selected by Memorial Sloan Kettering to advance patient engagement at the recently opened Josie RobertsonSurgery Center (JRSC). Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) selected HealthLoop’s technology to engage patients with 5-star service and continuous communication from the date surgery is scheduled through a complete recovery. HealthLoop’s automated patient engagement technology connects physicians and patients with timely and actionable information throughout a patient’s journey. The Josie Robertson Surgery Center is the culmination of years of research at MSK into standardizing complex surgeries that have traditionally required hospitalization and can now be performed on an outpatient or short-stay basis. Patients will be introduced to HealthLoop at the beginning of their surgical journey for tailored educational materials, pre-op instructions, reassuring and empathetic guidance, as well as frequent check-ins for compliance and feedback. Collecting and analyzing outcomes data is also a key focus at Memorial Sloan Kettering. HealthLoop will be used to collect Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs) so the center can continuously improve quality and look for new ways to innovate.

HealthLoop Announces Executive Changes

HealthLoop has announced the addition of two new members to their executive team. Bevey Miner has joined the company as Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer and Harry Kirschner has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer. Miner, a former Allscripts executive, brings more than 18 years of health information technology experience from senior executive roles with large organizations and startups that focused on the advancement of interoperability to digital treatment of behavioral health at At Allscripts she oversaw the implementation of electronic prescribing with the launch of the National ePrescribing Patient Safety Initiative (NEPSI), with sponsors such as Google, Microsoft and Aetna. Miner is responsible for overseeing marketing, public relations and partner strategies at HealthLoop. Prior to joining HealthLoop, Kirschner was Executive Director at The Advisory Board Company. He has over 15 years of experience leading product strategy and commercialization for solutions designed to improve healthcare provider’s financial, clinical, and operational performance. Kirschner is responsible for overseeing revenue and product strategy at HealthLoop.

Health First Partners with HealthLoop to Enhance Patient Experience

HealthLoop announced a new partnership with Health First. With the new partnership, physicians in the Health First network will be able to establish automated communications with their patients, starting with surgeons in the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center. With HealthLoop, follow up will be automated and through text message and email communications. Physicians will be able to deliver timely, condition-specific guidance and reminders, while also addressing clinical questions and providing educational materials to help keep patients on track, detect impending clinical concerns and provide a 5-star patient experience.
