Reynolds Smith & Hills Inc. announced that it has promoted Geoffrey Ax, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, Kenneth J. Herring, PE, and W. John Pollard, PE to the positions of Vice President. Geoffrey Ax, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP joined RS&H in November as the Aviation Practice's new Buildings Service Group Leader. Kenneth J. Herring, PE joined RS&H in 2010 and quickly rose to Transportation-Infrastructure (T-I) Leader for North Carolina in 2012. Ken currently serves on the Transportation Committee of the American Council of Engineering Companies - North Carolina Chapter and is also involved in the North Carolina Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, as well as the American Public Works Association. W. John Pollard, PE joined RS&H in 2012 and currently serves as the T-I Leader for the Austin Office. He also serves as Project Manager for the Texas Department of Transportation's Procurement Contract, currently the region's large contract.
RS&H Names Jeremy Sochol as Chief Administrative Officer

RS&H announced that it has elected Jeremy Sochol into a newly formed position of chief administrative officer. Sochol currently serves as senior vice president and human resources director, overseeing the firm’s HR initiatives. In his new role as chief administrative officer, his responsibilities will expand to include oversight and direction of the firm’s Information Technology group. He reports directly to the CEO and is part of executive management. Sochol joined RS&H in August 2013 to elevate the firm’s organizational effectiveness, human resources and talent acquisition. He previously served as Senior Director of Global Talent and Total Rewards at KEMET Corporation, as well as Vice President of Corporate HR and Learning for Waste Management.

RS&H announced that David Gaboury, PE, will join the RS&H Board of Directors. Gaboury is widely recognized as an industry and business leader in consulting engineering. He serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Terracon. Gaboury is a licensed professional engineer with more than 30 years of experience in environmental, geo-environmental and water resources engineering. Gaboury is a member of the Construction Industry Round Table, Incident and Injury-Free Executive Forum, and CEO Conference Group. He is Past President of the Geoprofessional Business Association and was formerly on the Industry Leaders Council of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees for Olathe Medical Center Inc., and Chairman of the Board of Olathe Medical Services Inc.
