Kutak Rock has elected seven new partners in its Denver office in wide-ranging practice areas. The new partners are David Cripe, Matthias Edrich, Christopher Heroux, Carol Mihalic, Jolyn Moses, Gil Rosenthal and Lee Sachnoff. Cripe represents a variety of companies and individuals on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions. His corporate practice includes business formation and structuring, and drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of contracts. Edrich advises government, nonprofit and for-profit clients concerning federal tax treatment of municipal and corporate securities offerings, tax credit matters and other tax-incentivized financing structures, including student loan bonds and bonds for qualified residential rental facilities. Heroux has a transactional law practice focused in the areas of oil and gas, energy and mining law, representing local, national and international companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, participation and development projects. Mihalic's practice focuses on a range of federal and state tax matters.
