Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP has announced that James I. McClammy, Stephen Salmon, Pritesh P. Shah, Eli J. Vonnegut and Brian Wolfe have been elected partners of the firm, effective July 2, 2015. Mr. McClammy is a partner in Davis Polk s Litigation Department in New York. He has represented financial institutions, corporations, debtors, creditors and creditor committees in a wide range of matters, including securities, commodities and antitrust class actions, bankruptcy-related litigation, and other complex federal and state law litigation. His experience includes a number of trials and evidentiary hearings as well as participation in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Mr. Salmon is a partner in Davis Polk s Corporate Department in the Menlo Park office. He advises on mergers and acquisitions transactions, capital markets transactions, SEC disclosure and corporate governance. His recent capital markets transactions include the initial public offerings of Virgin America, Coherus BioSciences and Violin Memory; convertible debt offerings for Citrix Systems, Accuray and Invensense; and investment-grade debt offerings for Cadence, Reliance Steel and Leidos. Mr. Shah is a partner in Davis Polk s Corporate Department in New York, practicing in the Intellectual Property and Technology Group.
