Isolux Corsán Wins EUR 56 Million Contract by the Nicaraguan Health Ministry to Build Hospital

Isolux Corsán was awarded a EUR 56 million contract by the Nicaraguan health ministry to build a hospital. The contract entails designing, building and providing maintenance to a hospital that will be located in León, Nicaragua's large city. The hospital will have the capacity to serve over 800,000 users in 23 of the country's municipalities. The project includes the construction of three buildings: a primary care and hospitalization unit, an outpatient facility, and an industrial building.

Ferrovial In Talks To Acquire Isolux’s Three Power Transmission Projects

Ferrovial, S.A. (BME:FER) is in talks to acquire three power transmission projects in Brazil from Grupo Isolux Corsán, S.A. according to a Ferrovial letter. Ferrovial sent a letter to Brazil's electricity watchdog, Aneel saying it was in talks with Isolux. In the document, it asked the regulator to hold off on the possible cancellation of the licenses. The company said it was evaluating the three projects and that it intended to present an offer to Isolux by December 22, 2016 to take responsibility for finishing the transmission lines. There was no immediate answer from Aneel regarding Ferrovial's request.
