Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP announced that Pierre M. Gentin, who held senior legal and risk positions at Credit Suisse AG over nearly two decades, has joined the firm as a partner in the Litigation practice group, resident in New York. Mr. Gentin served until September 2015 as the Global Head of Litigation and Regulatory Investigations for Credit Suisse, advising the bank's board of directors, executive management, and senior business personnel on the full range of litigation and regulatory enforcement issues arising before and after the financial crisis. At Credit Suisse, Mr. Gentin was a member of the General Counsel division's global management committee which ran the 2000-person legal and compliance organization, and a member of the bank's Global Leadership Council comprising Credit Suisse's senior leadership group. He previously served as Credit Suisse's General Counsel for the Research Division and as Head of Reputational Risk for the Americas region. Before joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Gentin served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
