Paula Cunningham will take the helm effective July 6, 2015, and will be responsible for leading and directing the advocacy and community outreach work of AARP and its 1.4 million Michigan members. Cunningham spent 25 years at Lansing Community College, and was president from 2000-06. She was the first female president of LCC. Cunningham recently retired from Capitol National Bank in Lansing, where she served as president and CEO for the last nine years.
