Johns Manville Names Marcia Howes as Vice President of Global Supply Chain

Johns Manville announced that Marcia Howes has joined the company as Vice President of Global Supply Chain. Howes comes to JM from a similar position with BJC HealthCare in St. Louis. She is a veteran business leader and supply chain professional with more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of supply chain and in driving operational excellence across complex organizations. Howes will be responsible for leading JM’s global supply chain organization and for developing and implementing the company’s supply chain strategy.

Johns Manville Announces Executive Changes

Johns Manville announced leadership changes in two of its businesses. Bob Wamboldt, currently Senior Vice President and General Manager of Roofing Systems, will become Senior Vice President and General Manager of Insulation Systems, and Joe Smith will become Senior Vice President and General Manager of Roofing Systems. Wamboldt will succeed Fred Stephan, who is leaving Johns Manville for another opportunity. Wamboldt joined Johns Manville in 2003 and has held senior leadership positions in the company’s Engineered Products business and in Roofing Systems. He began as Strategic Accounts Manager and later worked as Vice President and General Manager of Engineered Products North America and as Leader for the North American Fibers business in the Engineered Products Group. He has led the Roofing Systems business since 2011. Before joining JM, Wamboldt worked 16 years at PPG with key roles in their Fiber Glass and Coatings divisions. Smith will assume Wamboldt’s current role in the Roofing Systems business. He has been General Manager of Building Insulation since 2012 and has played important roles at JM for more than 28 years. He began his tenure as a roofing sales representative, and in 1998 he moved to Denver as a marketing manager in JM’s Roofing Systems Business. For the next 14 years, he worked in a variety of marketing, product management and roofing services positions.

Johns Manville Announces Availability of Highly Reflective Granulated Cap Sheet Glaskap® CR G

Johns Manville announced the availability of a new highly reflective granulated cap sheet called GlasKap® CR G. GlasKap CR G may be used as a cap or flashing sheet in built-up roofing (BUR) systems. The CR G membranes are surfaced with white reflective minerals and can be installed using standard granulated cap sheet installation methods. GlasKap CR G joins the larger offering of JM cool roof membrane solutions. These products are approved by FM Global® and Underwriter Laboratories Inc.
