Sinochem Group and China Development Bank signed strategic cooperation agreement for the thirteenth Five-Year Plan. Both parties will make full use of their strengths, expand cooperation areas and raise cooperation levels comprehensively around strategic development common point. Before signing the agreement, Cai Xiyou, President of Sinochem Group, and Zheng Zhijie, President of China Development Bank held a meeting and both expressed their wishes to deepen strategic cooperation. Yang Lin, CFO of Sinochem Group, and Zhang Xuguang, Vice President of China Development Bank signed on the agreement.
Chinese Government Reportedly Mulls Merger Of State Owned Companies

Chinese Government is considering merging of state owned companies. Companies being considered for mergers include China National Petroleum Corporation or CNPC and China Petrochemical Corporation or Sinopec, the Journal said, citing officials with knowledge of a government study. Other options include merging China National Offshore Oil Corporation, or CNOOC, and Sinochem Group, the report said.
