Telekom Romania provides ICT services to Polaris medical hospital at Cluj-Napoca in the Sugeagu town. Among the products and services developed by Telekom for Polaris Hospital are the bracelets with panic buttons which allow the patients' permanent monitoring and localization within a specific area. With these bracelets, the medical team is able to act very quickly in emergency situations. Moreover, the hospital's equipment, including its IT devices are interconnected and allow data transfer inside and outside the network. A secured internet wireless platform is available within the hospital's area, which allows the separation of the medical personnel's data traffic from patients and visitors' traffic. The Wi-Fi services are available for free to visitors. The hospital also has a short info line number and its own telephone exchange.
State To Sell Telekom Romania Communications' Stake By Early October

Advisors retained by the Romanian government will present a final strategy for the sale of state's remaining minority stake in Telekom Romania Communications S.A. by the end of September, 2015 or by October 3 -4 at the latest; HotNews.ro reported citing Minister for Information Society Sorin Grindeanu. A consortium of SIF Swiss Capital, BT Securities, UBS and Musat si Asociatii was selected as the consultant for the sale. 45.99% stake in the company is held by the Romanian government via the Ministry for Information Society.

Telekom Romania Communications reported earnings results for the second quarter of 2015. For the quarter, the company reported that revenues were up by 0.5% to EUR 150.5 million, while EBITDA dropped 44% to EUR 24.7 million hurt by higher costs to address competitive pressure.
