The purchase of this facility, closed by its previous owners in December 2014, was completed on February 19, 2015, and will help the company continue to meet growing consumer demand for a variety of Butterball turkey products.

Butterball, LLC named Jay Jandrain as the company’s executive vice president of sales and Bill Klump as chief marketing officer effective May 19, 2014. Jandrain and Klump succeed Kerry Doughty, who was recently named president and chief executive officer of the Butterball organization May 5, 2014. In his new role, Jandrain will be responsible for sales in the food service, retail and export channels as well as product research and development, customer service, and integrated business strategy. As CMO, Klump will be responsible for overall brand strategy, consumer communication and public relations. In addition, Klump will continue his role in driving brand advertising, consumer promotion, product innovation and consumer insights for consumer packaged goods, deli and seasonal products. Jandrain joined Butterball in May of 2002 as the director of product research and development. Since that time, he has held roles of increasing responsibility including vice president of deli sales, vice president of product research and development, and vice president of integrated business strategy.

Butterball, LLC named Kerry Doughty as the company's president and chief executive officer (CEO) effective May 5, 2014. As CEO, Doughty will be responsible for overseeing the company's business strategy and operations, and will leverage more than 30 years of experience in the food industry.
Doughty joined the company in 2007 as executive vice president of sales, marketing and innovation and has proven himself as a key leader within the company and poultry industry. In his role as executive vice president, Doughty held responsibility for company's domestic and international retail and food service customer relationships, oversaw all marketing and public relations initiatives, and led new product and innovation development. Prior to his seven years with the company, Doughty served for more than 25 years in customer service, sales and brand marketing roles of increasing responsibility, including leadership positions with large consumer brands such as Perdue Farms, Hardee's and Wilson Foods. Doughty succeeds Rod Brenneman, who has fulfilled his three-year commitment to develop company's long-term vision for the organization.
