Genesis Media announced the launch of Page Attention Rank (P-A-R), its newly patented analytics solution that scores webpage content quality in real-time while measuring consumer attention. This new KPI presents advertisers and publishers with an opportunity to gain deep insight into their audiences' attention online and what content actually drives the most engagement, providing full transparency into the quality of their investments. P-A-R calculates attention in real-time for each webpage and targets advertisements to pages that have the high amount of user attention. The algorithm analyzes user motivation to access a particular page, combined with the amount of attention and engagement the page content generates, which translates into a Genesis Media P-A-R score. All P-A-R scores will be made available to advertisers programmatically, giving them the control and preference to serve an ad to more attentive traffic. For publishers, P-A-R provides insight into what pages have the high quality traffic, which can change at any given moment – allowing them to optimize inventory for higher ranked pages in real-time. P-A-R stems from the Genesis Attention Platform (G-A-P), the company's proprietary foundation that creates new out-stream video ad inventory within premium content, using data science to determine exactly when a viewer should be shown an ad based on their likeliness to engage.

Genesis Media announced TVGenesis, a video content discovery solution for publishers. The software surfaces the publishers' pre-existing video content to drive new viewership and monetization opportunities while capturing 100% of consumers' attention with a full screen, TV-like experience. TVGenesis adds to the user experience by prioritizing trending videos, as well as surfacing videos that are relevant to the content an individual is reading. TVGenesis uses behavioral and contextual data to: understand and identify opportunities to connect with consumers based on unique attention data collected across a user's content journey. Recommend relevant video content to a user at the moment that is likely to capture their attention using an interactive, non-intrusive content link. Once the user engages, playback begins inside a full-screen player that also queues additional recommended content. Analyze viewing activity and intelligently build a custom video playlist to keep users engaged. Users can also easily browse through a site's video library and choose from available content segments, while returning users are invited to view new trending videos or resume watching where they left off previously. TVGenesis has driven noteworthy results during Alpha testing with several national, top tier publishers. TVGenesis software has run across a total of 5.5 million page views to date during the alpha release. Across those 5.5 million pages, a total of 250,000 videos viewed were watched within the full-screen experience, opening a new pre-roll revenue stream for participating partners.
