Si.mobil Introduces New Svobodni Packages

Si.mobil has introduced the new Svobodni packages, which include LTE network coverage, buying mobile devices over 6, 12, 18 or 24 months and large data franchises. The Svobodni S package costs EUR 19.99 and includes 3 GB, Svobodni M costs EUR 24.99 and includes 8 GB, and Svobodni L costs EUR 39.99 and includes 15 GB. Customers can purchase an additional 250 MB for EUR 1.99. In addition, the Svobodni M package includes 1,000 minutes, 1,000 SMS and 1 GB of data in the EU, while the Svobodni L includes 1,000 minutes, 1,000 SMS and 2 GB when roaming the EU, Serbia and Macedonia. Subscribers of the Svobodni packages can also purchase a mobile phone from EUR 1.

Si.mobil Announces Earnings Results for the First Quarter of 2016

Si.mobil announced earnings results for the first quarter of 2016. The company ended the first quarter of 2016 with EUR 51.7 million of revenue down 28.7% on the same period in 2015. Service revenues were up 1.8%, equipment revenues dropped by 5.0%, and fixed-line revenues were down 6.8%. The drop in sales was due mainly to a positive extraordinary effect of EUR 20.0 million in January 2015 related to an agreement on settling mutual relations and business collaboration with Telekom Slovenije. EBITDA dropped 57.2% to EUR 14.0 million. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) decreased 75% on the year to EUR 6.5 million in the first quarter of 2016. Capital expenditures in Slovenia fell 15.7% to EUR 3.6 million in the three months through March.

Si.mobil Reports Earnings Results for Fourth Quarter of 2015

Si.mobil reported 14.9% growth in revenue in the fourth quarter of 2015 to EUR 53.8 million, helped by its acquisitions in the fixed market. The company also benefited from EUR 10 million in other operating income in October 2015 because of an agreement on settling mutual relations with Telekom Slovenije. EBITDA comparable rose 51.2% to EUR 22.8 million. EBIT was up 67.2% to EUR 16 million.
