Munro comes to Norton Rose Fulbright as a partner from Transocean Ltd., where he was Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Munro’s practice will focus on assisting clients in addressing global business risks through compliance program development, improvement and assessments, appropriate investigations and the proper management of compliance-related government relationships, settlements and ongoing reporting obligations. The new partners are: Shea Haass and Spencer Persson, commercial litigation; Jay Stiffler, energy transactions; Carter Dugan, energy and infrastructure disputes/financial institutions and insurance; Greg Moore and Ronald Smith, financial institutions and insurance; Jason Boland, financial restructuring and insolvency; Nathan Rees, intellectual property transactions and patent prosecution; Jessica Farley, mass tort and product liability; Ann La Morena Rohlin and Russell Trice, public finance; Alexander Clark and Peter Smith, tax; and Alyssa Vazquez, transportation finance. Shea Haass centers his practice on commercial litigation and international arbitration matters. Haass represents clients in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, energy, financial institutions, insurance, manufacturing, construction and telecommunications.
