OneEnergy Renewables Seeks Regulatory Approval to Build 6 MW Solar Photovoltaic Facility in Southern Maryland

OneEnergy Renewables is seeking regulatory approval in Maryland to build a 6 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) facility in Somerset County, Maryland. The company on August 18 submitted to the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) an application for a certificate of public convenience and necessity (CPCN) to build the project, which is called the Ibis Solar Farm. The new facility will be located on a portion of a 55 acre parcel of land near the town of Crisfield. According to an environmental assessment that company submitted with its application, the project will include 21,000 350-watt PV panels. Company estimated that the facility will cost between $15 million and $17 million, and will create about 50 temporary construction jobs and 20 additional jobs through the supply chain.
OneEnergy Renewables Introduces Arlo Corwin as New Chief Development Officer

OneEnergy Renewables introduced Arlo Corwin as the company's new chief development officer. Corwin will lead the development of OneEnergy's pipeline of renewable energy projects nationally. Corwin joined OneEnergy following the firm's acquisition of the development portfolio of ADVANCE Energy. Corwin brings more than a dozen years experience in renewable energy project development to this role. Prior to his move to OneEnergy, Corwin was the founder and managing principal of ADVANCE Energy. Corwin was formerly president of Power Network New Mexico, a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Partners, and a director of project development at EDP Renewables.
