Nebula announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of SEK 66 million against SEK 59 million a year ago. EBITA was SEK 18 million against SEK 18 million a year ago. Adjusted EBITA was SEK 18 million against SEK 19 million a year ago. Sales growth was 7% in reporting currency. Strong growth for cloud services and stable development for IT managed services and network services. Profit before tax was SEK 14 million compared to SEK 12 million a year ago. Interest-bearing net debt at March 31, 2015 was SEK 261 million.
Nebula Appoints Pekka Eloholma as CEO

Pekka Eloholma has been appointed as the new CEO of Nebula effective 30 January. Pekka has been acting CEO since October 2014 prior to which he was Chairman of Nebula. Pekka Eloholma, born 1960, has worked for the past 20 years in leading positions within the ICT sector in Finland and the Baltic countries. Pekka became acting CEO after Ville Skogberg in September decided to resign as CEO and instead take on the role of Chief Strategy Officer and focus on strategy and technical development.
Synnex Corporation and Nebula Bring Turnkey Private Cloud Appliance to the Channel

SYNNEX Corporation announced it is the first distributor to offer the fully integrated, big data turnkey private cloud appliance powered by Nebula to the channel. The rack level appliance is a fully integrated private cloud system engineered to deliver workloads for both Apache Cassandra and MongoDB. Cloudwick Labs has been selected to manage the software integration on behalf of solution providers. The new rack system includes industry-standard servers, the Nebula One Cloud Controller, Apache Cassandra, and MongoDB, backed by SYNNEX powerful distribution model. This big data appliance enables an open and elastic infrastructure to store and manage big data. As an open source NoSQL database technology, Apache Cassandra provides multi-site distributed computing of big data across multiple data centers, while MongoDB is a cross-platform document-oriented open source database system.
