American Commercial Lines Inc. is weighing a sale that is expected to value it at more than $1 billion. Platinum Equity, LLC is working with Bank of America, Royal Bank of Canada and UBS on options including a full sale or public market listing, Financial Times reported citing people familiar with the matter. The process is at an early stage. A representative for ACL was not immediately available for comment. Platinum Equity and its financial advisers declined to comment.
