Orkla Foods Norge Appoints Paul Jordahl as New CEO

Orkla Foods Norge has announced the appointment of Paul Jordahl as the new CEO. Jordahl will take up the position on December 1, 2014, becoming part of the Orkla Foods management team and reporting to Atle Vidar Nagel-Johansen, executive vice president and CEO of the Orkla Foods business area. Paul Jordahl has held various management positions at Orkla since joining the group in 2004, including that of CEO of Abba Seafood (Sweden). He was appointed Executive vice president and CEO of the Orkla International business area in 2012. He also has more than 15 years' experience from Krafts Foods' Nordic and Baltic operations.

Orkla ASA Announces Atle Vidar Nagel-Johansen to Take over Operational Responsibility for Orkla Foods Norge

Orkla ASA has appointed Bente Brevik, head of Orkla Foods Norge, or OFN, as business development director for Orkla Foods. Atle Vidar Nagel-Johansen, CEO of Orkla Foods, will take over operational responsibility for Orkla Foods Norge for an interim period. In her new post, Bente Brevik will ramp up efforts to generate organic growth in Orkla Foods, among other things through sales area development, acquisitions for growth, new sales channels, new product categories and other new growth initiatives. Bente Brevik came to Stabburet in 2008 from the position of Managing Director of Nidar. The formal change will take place on 1 October. Work has now begun on the process of finding her successor, and both internal and external candidates will be considered.
