Jul 26 16
Smarsh announced enhanced archiving and supervision support for SymphonyCommunication Services, LLC within The Archiving Platform™ from Smarsh. Developed in partnership with Symphony, the secure collaboration and workflow technology company, using The Archiving Platform™ from Smarsh, mutual customers can now archive, search and produce Symphony content in support of compliance and e-discovery initiatives. As the Symphony network continues to gain popularity within the financial services industry, firms must also meet their FINRA and SEC requirements for recordkeeping and oversight of electronic communications. Like other content in The Archiving Platform from Smarsh, communications and content on the Symphony platform retain their original appearance and format, so reviewers can easily search and assess a threaded conversation in context, with the unique characteristics of the conversation preserved.

Smarsh Releases Enhanced Web Archiving Solution
Sep 23 15
Smarsh announced the release of an enhanced version of its cloud-based Web Archiving solution. Customers use Web Archiving to retain web content from any point in time in an indexed, search-ready state. The latest version introduces an enhanced supervision workflow that enables organizations to easily monitor and track changes in content, and document reviews of archived web pages, combined with a new user interface designed for efficiency. As part of the enhanced supervision workflow, users can easily document content status, flag content for further review or as a violation, and add notes. Statuses and flags can be updated one at a time, or in bulk, and used as search criteria (for example, a reviewer can search for pages annotated with a specific tag). In addition, an audit trail documents all review activities and actions taken, so customers have evidence of supervision.
