Joramco to Spend USD 10 Million on Expansion

Joramco announced that the company is planning to invest nearly USD 10 million to expand its facilities and skills. Basically, the ambitious expansion will consist of building a new wide-body aircraft capable hangar, purchasing new tools and parts, and increasing its workforce at a cost of probably not less than the cited USD 10 million. In more detail, Joramco is capable of servicing Boeing 727s, 737s and 787s and all types of Airbus aircraft except the A380 and A350, however is reviewing the possibility to soon introduce capabilities for the latter. Joramco, who is profitable with an annual turnover of around USD 70 million, is anticipating an influx of business from Iranian carriers in the coming years after financial and economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
Saudi- Gulf Air Extends maintenance repair and overhaul Agreement with JorAMCo

Gulf Air Bahrain's national carrier has announced a 3-year extension of its maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) agreement with JorAMCo. Under the new move JorAMCo will provide Bahrain's national carrier with heavy maintenance checks for its current fleet of 28 aircraft A330s A320-ERs A320s and A321s. The agreement originally signed in January 2013 has been extended for three more years ending Dec. 31 2018. All maintenance will be performed in JorAMCo's regional MRO facility at Queen Alia International Airport Jordan.
Flydubai Inks Long-Term Deal with Joramco

Flydubai has inked a long-term deal with Joramco, that will supply the carrier with airframe maintenance solutions for its 50 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The agreement will be valid till December 2017, broadening a collaboration started in 2013, and will comprise of C checks, EIS (Entry Into Service) and lease hand backs for the complete armada.
