Hurley International LLC Key Developments

Hurley Announces Availability of Phantom Julian Elite Shorts

Hurley has announced the availability of Phantom Julian Elite shorts. The company applies new technology to water sports creating a new precedent in the world of surf. Both Moore and the Hurley Innovation Team worked closely with Wilson during the design process to create a solution that enhances his surfing style. The Phantom Julian Elite features a responsive Livewire waistband that reacts to the body's movement for maximum performance. Its free-floating rigid magwire contracts when engaged for a locked-down fit that holds up in fast conditions. A double layer of 60% stretch Phantom fabric enables waistband flexibility, while an exclusive construction technique stabilizes the multi-directional fabric. In addition, the Phantom Julian Elite exhibits the best of Phantom benefits: ultra lightweight with bonded seams, DWR water repellency and recycled fabric - made using an average of 12 plastic bottles per pair. The Phantom Julian Elite is available April 15, 2015.

Hurley International LLC Unveils the Phantom Fuse 3

Hurley continues to elevate performance surf apparel with the Phantom Fuse 3, the newest edition of the five-time SIMA award winning boardshort series. In stealth all-black with reflective detailing, the Phantom Fuse 3 incorporates a minimalist aesthetic with the ultimate lightweight fabric and new Fuse 3 technology unlike anything in the market. The end result: a lighter, even more comfortable boardshort that further extends surfing’s limitless performance possibilities. Key Features Include: A perforated neoprene waistband and Fuse net support structure, allowing more breathability, comfort and freedom. The waistband is designed to stretch and move with the body while anchoring the high-stretch fabric in a turbulent environment. A new streamlined microclosure significantly reduces bulk. The classic Block Party silhouette, made from the signature Phantom fabric with welded construction, giving the short a “second skin” feel. Like all Hurley boardshorts, Phantom Fuse 3 is made from recycled plastics. To date, more than 45 million plastic water bottles have been repurposed into Hurley boardshorts. Phantom Fuse 3 is great for everything.

Hurley International Launches Women's Phantom Sandal

Hurley International has announced the launch of women's Phantom Sandal. On the heels of the successful men's sandal, designers collaborated with the Nike team to create a women's version that offers all the superior design elements of the original men's Phantom Sandal, but made for her. The women's Phantom Sandal was designed to work with the body's mechanics. It features the Nike Free sole, which enables natural motion, and is combined with a breathable and washable upper. The EVA footbed also molds to the foot, creating a custom fit and ultimate comfort. "We really wanted to ensure the fit was perfect, and spent a great deal of time with consumers and Nike footwear experts to meet this expectation. Another thing focused on was balancing innovation, performance and aesthetics. The women's version has slimmer straps, a sleek profile, robust color, and also made sure that the cushioning, barefoot attributes and comfort was maintained. The sandal will be offered in six colors and available in stores in mid November - just in time for the holidays.
